Today was Tricia's second OB appointment, and my first time meeting Dr. Madland. Contrary to our doctor's name, he is an extremely nice doctor, very attentive to our needs. We got a chance to hear the baby's heartbeat for the first time. It was an unbelievable experience. 160 beats per minute, it was awesome. It really made things come to life, and seeing my wife as I heard our baby's heart was truly an out of body experience.

Tricia and I originally went out to find a yard sale that was selling some baby stuff, but we were too late, and all the good stuff was gone, then the baby got hungry so Mom got hungry so we ate some good 'ol Minot BBQ, at Roy's, but it still can't beat Texas BBQ.

Tricia and I finally remembered to take a pic of her before the first trimester was over. We kept putting it off because we both have been so busy. She has a little baby bump, not much, yet :)

Tricia had her first OB appointment today and I am stuck on alert. I was so heart broken that I could not be there with her to experience this day with my wife, but all that changed when she emailed me the picture of our baby in her belly. I immediately sent it out to everyone like the proud papa I am.
